App Name: J Command
Privacy Contact: dtchegs@gmail.com
Tchegs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops and operates J Command (“the App”), a free online multiplayer card game intended for teenagers and adults aged 13 and older.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared when you use J Command.
The first release does not require players to register an account or sign in. Players enter their own display name or nickname to participate in multiplayer games. The App does not provide in-game chat or direct messaging.
By using J Command, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent for particular data processing, we will obtain that consent separately.
The information processed by J Command depends on the features you use and the services integrated into the released version.
Players enter a display name or nickname to identify themselves during gameplay.
Because an account or login is not required, a display name is not verified proof of a player's real-world identity. The App may use a guest identifier, session identifier, or other technical information to associate a player with game records and statistics. The final method for identifying returning guest players has not yet been determined.
Please avoid including your full legal name, email address, telephone number, or other sensitive personal information in your display name.
J Command processes information needed to operate online multiplayer games. This may include:
Game room or table codes and session information.
Cards played and other gameplay actions.
Match results, wins and losses.
Player statistics and rankings.
Information needed to maintain game state and synchronise players.
J Command retains player statistics, win/loss records, and rankings. Each player is intended to be able to view their own statistics only; public leaderboards are not part of the current design.
The exact retention period and method of associating statistics with guest players have not yet been finalised.
To support online gameplay, backend communication, security, and advertising, the App and its service providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, app or device information, timestamps, connection information, and technical logs.
The specific information processed depends on the services and software development kits (SDKs) included in the App and their configuration.
J Command uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. The released Android app also uses the Android Advertising ID.
Depending on the Google Mobile Ads SDK version, configuration, device settings, and applicable consent choices, the SDK may automatically collect or share information including:
Device and advertising identifiers: such as the Android Advertising ID and other identifiers where available and used by the SDK.
IP address: which may be used for network communication, advertising purposes, security, or estimating a device's general location.
App and advertising interactions: such as app launches, ad impressions, taps, video views, and related interaction events.
Diagnostic and performance information: such as app or SDK launch times, crash or hang information, and other diagnostic or performance data.
Google may process this information for advertising delivery, ad measurement, analysis of advertising and app interactions, performance improvement, and the detection of fraudulent or invalid advertising traffic.
The actual data collected and shared depends on the SDK, the App's configuration, the device and its settings, and applicable law. Advertising-related information may be collected by Google even when players do not provide personal details directly to us.
For further information, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and the Google Mobile Ads SDK documentation at https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy.
If you contact us at dtchegs@gmail.com, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address, display name, and the details of your enquiry. We use this information to respond to your request and address privacy or support concerns.
We may use information described in this Policy to:
Operate multiplayer games, rooms, and table codes.
Identify players during gameplay.
Maintain match results, statistics, and win/loss records.
Synchronise gameplay and maintain reliable connections.
Maintain the security and integrity of the App.
Display and measure advertisements through Google AdMob.
Support advertising-related analytics and fraud prevention performed by the advertising service.
Diagnose technical issues using available operational information.
Respond to enquiries and data requests.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
The App does not provide in-game chat or direct messaging.
Separate analytics and crash-reporting services beyond those associated with the existing SDKs have not yet been selected. If additional services are introduced, this Policy will be updated as necessary.
J Command uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google, to display advertisements within the App.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share the information described in Section 2.4 for purposes including advertising delivery, measurement, analytics related to advertising and app interactions, and fraud prevention.
The final AdMob configuration has not yet been selected. Accordingly, we do not claim that J Command displays exclusively personalised or exclusively non-personalised advertisements.
The advertising options available to players may depend on the final configuration, the player's location, device settings, and applicable legal requirements.
Before release, we will configure advertising and any required consent mechanisms in accordance with applicable laws and Google Play requirements. Where consent or other choices are required, appropriate mechanisms will be provided.
Depending on the device, region, and final advertising configuration, players may have options to manage advertising identifiers or advertising preferences through device settings or available privacy and consent controls.
Resetting or disabling an advertising identifier may affect advertising functionality, but it does not necessarily prevent all information processing by the advertising service.
For more information about Google's privacy practices, visit https://policies.google.com/privacy.
J Command uses third-party services to support its operation.
Google AdMob provides in-app advertising. Its SDK may collect and share advertising identifiers, IP addresses, interaction events, and diagnostic information as described in this Policy.
Google processes information according to its applicable privacy practices and the App's advertising configuration.
J Command uses Supabase for backend and database services. Gameplay information and statistics necessary to operate the game may be processed or stored using Supabase.
The information processed depends on the actual database schema, backend implementation, access controls, and hosting configuration.
For more information, see https://supabase.com/privacy.
Separate analytics, crash-reporting, authentication, or push-notification services have not yet been confirmed for the first release. If such services are added, we will review their data practices and update this Policy where necessary.
Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies and service terms.
Information may be processed or shared in the following circumstances:
Service providers: with Supabase to provide backend and database functionality, and with Google through AdMob to provide advertising and related services.
Security and legal compliance: where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users, address security incidents, or safeguard the rights and integrity of the App.
Business transfers: if the App or its operation is involved in a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
We do not sell players' display names or gameplay statistics as a standalone product. However, Google AdMob may collect and share information for advertising-related purposes as described in this Policy.
J Command retains player statistics, win/loss records, and rankings to provide game features and maintain statistics.
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for gameplay, service operation, security, troubleshooting, and applicable legal requirements.
A fixed retention period has not yet been established. The actual retention period will depend on the final implementation and operational requirements.
Where information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or anonymise it, subject to applicable legal obligations, legitimate security needs, and backup or log retention cycles.
Third-party providers may retain information under their own applicable retention practices.
The first release of J Command does not require players to create accounts. Therefore, account deletion is not applicable in the same way as it would be for a registered account.
Players may request deletion of identifiable gameplay information or statistics by contacting dtchegs@gmail.com with the subject line “J Command Data Deletion Request.”
Please include your display name and any available guest or player identifier to help us locate the relevant information. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
The deletion procedure for guest statistics has not yet been finalised. We will assess requests and take appropriate action under applicable law. Information that can be reasonably identified and is not required to be retained will be deleted where appropriate. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or security records until the applicable retention cycle ends.
If a future version introduces account registration, we will provide an appropriate account-deletion process and update this Policy as necessary.
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by J Command against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Security measures depend on the systems and service providers used. Google documents encryption in transit for data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK. This does not constitute a guarantee that every item of information across all App systems is protected in the same way.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
J Command is designed not to request additional runtime device permissions for core gameplay. The first-release design does not require access to contacts, the camera, microphone, or precise GPS location.
However, the App requires internet connectivity for multiplayer functionality and advertisements. Third-party SDKs may process technical information and identifiers without requiring a separate runtime permission prompt.
The actual permissions and SDK behaviours depend on the Android build and the services included in the released App.
J Command is intended for teenagers and adults aged 13 and older and is not designed for children under 13.
Privacy and advertising requirements for younger users vary by country and region. We will take applicable laws and Google Play requirements into account when configuring the App and its advertising services.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through J Command, contact us at dtchegs@gmail.com. We will review the request and take appropriate action as required by applicable law.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
Request access to personal information.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of personal information.
Object to or request restrictions on certain processing.
Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy laws.
You may submit a request to dtchegs@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request and determine whether the information can be associated with your guest identity.
Because the first release does not require accounts, identifying a player's saved records may depend on the display name or other available identifiers.
Advertising choices may also be available through device settings or consent mechanisms, depending on the final AdMob configuration and applicable requirements.
Supabase, Google, or other service providers may process or store information in countries outside the country in which you live.
The locations involved depend on the selected hosting regions and the services used. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be applied to international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's functionality, service providers, data practices, or legal requirements change.
When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this Policy. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before implementing relevant changes.
We encourage players to review this Policy periodically.
